What information will I need when using SimpleFile?
Basic information for you (and your spouse):
- Full name
- Date of birth
- Social Security number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN). This can be found on the person’s Social Security card or ITIN letter.

- Bank account and routing numbers (if you want your refund as a direct deposit). You can often find this information by logging into your online account with your bank.
